Karachi, March 22, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its latest update on shipping activities to facilitate traders, shipping companies, and logistics operators.
The report, issued at 0800 hours, outlines key vessel movements, including berthing, sailing, and shifting of ships at Port Qasim over the past 24 hours.
Vessel Departures from Port Qasim
Several vessels successfully departed from Port Qasim as part of ongoing shipping operations. Among them, M.T. Maritime Tuntiga, carrying 30,010 metric tons of palm oil, set sail at 15:30 hours from the LCT Berth, managed by Al-Pine Marine. Another notable departure was M.V. Bloom Halo, which carried 60,494 metric tons of coal and left from the Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (PIBT) under the agency of T2S at the same time.
Berthing of Vessels at Port Qasim
Several incoming vessels berthed at Port Qasim, bringing in diverse cargo. M.V. Xpress Kohima, a container vessel, docked at QT2-I Berth at 04:00 hours. Meanwhile, M.T. Ivan 6, carrying 3,302 metric tons of LPG, berthed at SSGC Terminal at 12:00 hours under Transtrade Shipping. Another significant arrival was M.T. Al Rayyan, an LNG carrier with 136,082 metric tons of liquefied natural gas, which berthed at EETL Terminal at 12:30 hours, operated by GSA (Pvt) Ltd.
Shifting of Vessels at Port Qasim
Vessel relocation remains a crucial part of shipping operations at Port Qasim. The M.V. Super Arteta, carrying 40,000 metric tons of rice, was shifted from the anchorage area to an operational berth under the management of Eastwind Shipping.
The Port Qasim Authority continues to ensure smooth shipping operations, facilitating trade and logistics efficiently. With ongoing vessel movements, the port plays a vital role in sustaining the country’s import and export activities.
