Karachi, May 22, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping operations report to update port users, terminal operators, and stakeholders about vessel activities within the past 24 hours.

The report, issued at 08:00 AM on Thursday, outlines detailed information regarding the berthing, sailing, and shifting of vessels at Port Qasim, which remains one of Pakistan’s most crucial maritime hubs for import and export trade.

According to the report, vessel traffic at Port Qasim remained active with notable movements in the past day. Two vessels, M.T MAERSK BEAUFORT and M.V ADVENTURE, departed from the port after completing cargo handling operations involving palm oil and purified terephthalic acid respectively. Their departure was recorded around 15:30 hours, as per the report.

In terms of arrivals, four major vessels berthed at different terminals within the port. These included M.V MSC FALCON III, carrying containerized cargo; M.T MILAHA RAS LAFFAN, an LNG carrier; M.T FALCON ROYAL, loaded with palm oil; and M.V SAKIZAYA UNICORN, transporting a large consignment of soybean seeds. These ships began their cargo operations between 08:30 AM and 18:45 PM, indicating a steady flow of maritime traffic and trade activity at Port Qasim.

Additionally, the shipping operations report documented the shifting of vessels, notably M.V GLORIA, which was moved from outer anchorage for further processing. This type of movement is a standard part of routine port operations, ensuring berth availability and timely cargo discharge.

The port continues to maintain its role as a critical gateway for Pakistan’s international trade, handling a diverse range of commodities including LNG, palm oil, petroleum products, and agricultural imports. The regular issuance of the shipping operations report by the PQA provides transparency and operational insight to traders, shipping companies, and logistics providers.
