Karachi, May 26, 2025 — The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released the official shipping operations report for Monday, May 26, 2025, to inform and assist all maritime and logistics stakeholders involved in trade and cargo movement. The update reflects operations conducted over the last 24 hours and was issued at 0800 hours.

According to the report, several key vessels were berthed at Port Qasim to manage both import and export activities. These shipping operations form a vital part of Pakistan’s trade logistics and are essential to maintaining the smooth flow of goods in and out of the country.

Among the vessels that berthed at the port, the container ship MSC GUERNSEY was handled at the QT2-II terminal under the agency of MSC Pakistan. The ship has a length overall (LOA) of 251 meters and was assigned to manage container cargo.

Meanwhile, the LNG carrier M.T-AL DAAYEN, measuring 288 meters in length, docked at the PGPCL terminal. The vessel discharged 140,621 metric tons of liquefied natural gas, managed by GSA (Pvt) Ltd., contributing to the nation’s critical energy supplies.

In addition, the tanker M.T-NAVE CIELO, transporting 39,693 metric tons of gas oil, was berthed at FOTCO under the management of Transmarine. This shipment plays a crucial role in meeting domestic fuel requirements.

Agricultural imports were also a key part of today’s shipping activities. The bulk carrier ATHANASIA C arrived with 67,690 metric tons of soybean seed and was berthed at PIBT, overseen by Ocean Services. This cargo will support the food and feed sectors across the country.

Another vessel, ELENI T, with a length of 260 meters, was recorded as berthed at QICT-VII at 1500 hours, adding to the steady stream of shipping traffic passing through the port.

The Port Qasim Authority emphasized that port operations continue to run smoothly and efficiently, ensuring timely berthing, unloading, and cargo handling. With several terminals actively engaged, Port Qasim remains a cornerstone of national shipping logistics, enabling seamless operations crucial for both imports and exports.
