Karachi, May 30, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its updated daily shipping operations report, providing detailed insights into maritime activities at the port over the last 24 hours.

Issued at 0800 hours on Friday, this comprehensive report is part of PQA’s ongoing commitment to facilitating port users, shipping agents, and stakeholders with timely data about vessel movement and cargo handling.

According to the report, shipping operations at Port Qasim remained fully active with both incoming and outgoing vessels efficiently managed. Multiple ships were berthed and sailed, handling a range of imports including containers, LPG, LNG, paraxylene, mogas, soybean seed, gasolene, and cement. The variety of cargo handled is a testament to the port’s growing capacity and robust shipping operations.

On the departure front, five vessels completed their operations and set sail. These included the M.V. Sofia Express, a container vessel operated by Hapag-Lloyd Pakistan; the M.T. Hanyu Freesia, carrying paraxylene; M.T. Nepta, loaded with LPG; M.V. Amoy Sunny, transporting soybean seed; and the M.T. CL Jane Austen, which carried a significant consignment of mogas. Each vessel adhered to its scheduled Estimated Time of Departure (ETD), highlighting the operational efficiency at the port.

Simultaneously, five new vessels arrived and were berthed at different terminals. These included the M.T. Lebrethah with LNG, the M.V. Seapan Calicanto, the M.V. Bunun Youth with cement, M.T. Amir Gas transporting LPG, and the M.T. Renad carrying gasolene. The berthing process was smooth, reflecting the strong coordination between vessel operators and port authorities.

Port Qasim continues to serve as one of Pakistan’s most vital maritime gateways, with a steady rise in cargo volume and vessel traffic.
