Port Qasim Activity

Karachi, September 16, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily report on shipping activities for Tuesday, September 16, 2025, providing essential updates for maritime stakeholders and the logistics sector. The report was compiled at 08:00 hours and reflects operations carried out during the previous 24 hours.

According to the PQA, three vessels successfully sailed out from the port, including M.T. Maya Gas 1, M.V. Icarus, and M.V. An Hai Star. These vessels departed at different intervals throughout the day after completing their respective cargo operations. The timely departure of these ships highlights the port’s efficiency in managing international shipping schedules.

Meanwhile, three new vessels were berthed to continue the cycle of trade and logistics. These include M.V. GFS Juno, M.T. AN 61, and M.V. PH Giang Minh, which arrived at the port during the day and were accommodated at different terminals. Their arrival reflects the steady flow of import and export consignments passing through Port Qasim, one of Pakistan’s busiest maritime gateways.

Officials noted that the smooth handling of cargo, despite rising trade volumes, underscores the port’s growing importance in regional shipping operations. Port Qasim continues to play a central role in Pakistan’s international trade by facilitating oil, gas, containerized goods, and general cargo.

The PQA added that it remains committed to ensuring transparency in reporting shipping activities, enabling traders, shipping agents, and logistics firms to plan their operations effectively.
