Karachi, September 21, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) released its official shipping operations report on Sunday, providing details of vessel movements and port activities during the past 24 hours. The update, issued at 0800 hours, is meant to keep stakeholders, traders, and logistics companies informed about the ongoing flow of goods and services through one of Pakistan’s busiest ports.
According to the PQA, several vessels either departed or berthed at Port Qasim over the last day. The authority confirmed that tankers and cargo ships continued to handle a wide range of commodities, including industrial materials and essential supplies. Vessels such as M.T-AMIR GAS, M.V-FALMOUTH BAY, and M.V-XPRESS KOHIMA were among those that successfully sailed out of the port during the scheduled window.
On the other hand, berthing operations were also carried out smoothly. Ships including M.T-KAISA I and M.V-ORION VII were allocated to their designated terminals as per the planned schedules. The PQA highlighted that coordination between port management, customs officials, and private agents ensured efficiency in the entire process.
The continuous flow of maritime traffic reflects the growing reliance of Pakistan’s economy on uninterrupted shipping operations. Port Qasim serves as a critical hub for imports and exports, making timely reporting essential for businesses that depend on cargo delivery. Officials emphasized that the latest shipping activities were completed without disruption, demonstrating the port’s ability to handle rising trade volumes.
Overall, Port Qasim’s efficient shipping operations continue to strengthen Pakistan’s trade and supply chain.
