KARACHI, September 24, 2026: The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has reported the latest vessel movements at Port Qasim, including one ship that sailed after handling rice cargo and four vessels scheduled to berth during the reported period.
The update covers the last 24 hours up to 0800 hours on September 24, 2026, according to PQA shipping data.
Vessel Sails After Handling 10,000 Tonnes of Rice
M.V. Truong An Star, bearing PQA Registration No. 37902, sailed from Port Qasim after handling 10,000 tonnes of rice.
The vessel has a length overall (LOA) of 110 metres, with both its aft and forward drafts recorded at 5.10 metres.
M.V. Truong An Star was scheduled to depart at 15:30 hours and was handled by Al-Pine Marine at the FAP berth.
Four Vessels Scheduled for Berthing
Several vessels were scheduled to berth at Port Qasim on September 24.
M.V. BSG Barbados, PQA Registration No. 37931, was scheduled to berth at 09:00 hours at QICT-VII. The container vessel has an LOA of 222 metres and both aft and forward drafts of 11.60 metres.
The vessel is represented by GAC Shipping.
M.T. Maria Majesty, PQA Registration No. 37883, was scheduled to berth at 09:30 hours at LCT.
The vessel has an LOA of 183 metres and is carrying 28,500 tonnes of palm oil. Its aft and forward drafts are both 9.80 metres, while Al-Pine Marine is acting as the ship agent.
M.V. CMA CGM Ganges, with an LOA of 300 metres, was scheduled to berth at 18:30 hours at QT2-II.
Meanwhile, M.T. PGC Yiannios, with an LOA of 120 metres, was scheduled to berth at 18:45 hours. The vessel is represented by SSGC.
Port Qasim Handles Key Cargo Movements
The latest PQA shipping update reflects the continued movement of vessels handling key import and export cargoes at the port.
