Karachi, August 15, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping operations report for Friday, August 15, 2025, providing a detailed account of vessel movements and cargo handling activities to assist port users and maritime stakeholders.

The Port Qasim update, issued at 0800 hours, covered all significant activities over the past 24 hours, including the berthing and sailing of multiple vessels carrying essential imports such as palm oil, motor gasoline (MOGAS), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and ethylene.

According to the report, three major vessels departed the port: M.T. Petrel 1 loaded with 31,500 metric tons of palm oil, M.T. Flora Maris with over 39,000 metric tons of MOGAS, and M.T. Gas Emerald carrying 4,300 metric tons of ethylene. All three completed loading and sailing operations on schedule, ensuring smooth maritime traffic flow.

On the berthing side, Port Qasim welcomed M.T. Pvt Neptune with palm oil, M.T. Kavomaleas carrying over 60,000 metric tons of MOGAS, and M.T. Maya Gas 1 with LPG cargo. These arrivals underscore the port’s critical role in sustaining Pakistan’s fuel and commodity supply chain.
