Karachi, August 27, 2025 – Port Qasim Authority (PQA) released its latest shipping operations report on Wednesday, highlighting vessel movements and cargo handling at one of Pakistan’s busiest maritime gateways.
According to PQA, the port remains a vital hub for trade, facilitating consistent shipping activity to meet the growing demands of importers and exporters. The report, compiled at 08:00 hours, provides a detailed account of vessel sailings, berthings, and cargo statistics over the last 24 hours.
During the period, several ships departed after completing their cargo operations. Vessels like M.V-GFS PRIME and M.T-NEPTA cleared port channels smoothly, while M.V-HELENA K successfully handled rice consignments amounting to thousands of metric tons. Similarly, M.T-SINAR TORAJA completed operations and was scheduled to depart by the afternoon.
On the berthing side, M.V-HANSA AFRICA and M.T-PM DUKE arrived at designated terminals to commence unloading and loading activities. The port management emphasized efficient coordination among shipping lines, terminal operators, and logistics handlers to ensure timely cargo clearance.
