Karachi, August 3, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping operations report to keep port users and stakeholders informed about maritime activities on Sunday, August 3, 2025.
The update includes comprehensive details of vessel movements, berthing schedules, and ongoing cargo handling at the port.
According to the latest report issued at 0800 hours, multiple vessels successfully concluded their operations and departed the port within the past 24 hours. Among the notable departures were M.T-AL KHEESAH carrying LNG, M.T-VICTORIA KOSAN loaded with ethylene, M.T-MARLIN LE HAVRE with high-speed diesel oil, and M.V-ABILENE transporting coal. These departures reflect the efficient shipping operations and management system at Port Qasim, ensuring timely movement of essential cargo.
Simultaneously, several new vessels were berthed to continue port operations seamlessly. Bulk cargo carriers such as M.V-MTR CHESSMASTER, M.V-DSI PHOENIX, and M.V-TAN BINH 259 arrived to offload coal, rice, and cement. Meanwhile, oil and chemical tankers including M.T-SEARAY, M.T-EVRIDIKI, and M.T-STANLEY PARK began unloading palm oil, high-sulfur fuel oil, and phosphoric acid, respectively.
Container vessel M.V-KUMASI also docked for containerized cargo operations, highlighting Port Qasim’s increasing role in Pakistan’s maritime shipping network. These activities indicate that the port continues to handle a wide variety of imports and exports across major commodities.
Port Qasim remains one of Pakistan’s busiest and most vital seaports, supporting industrial zones and national supply chains through uninterrupted shipping operations.
