Karachi, October 16, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its latest shipping operations report for Thursday, providing updates to facilitate stakeholders, logistics partners, and maritime operators. The report, issued at 0800 hours, covers port activity during the last 24 hours.

According to PQA, two vessels departed from the port while two new ships berthed for cargo handling operations.

The departing vessels included M.T-KAISA I (PQA Reg. No. 36435), which sailed at 15:00 hours carrying 3,189 metric tons of LPG, and M.T-SHENG HANG 005 (PQA Reg. No. 36452), which departed at 15:30 hours after loading 25,500 metric tons of palm oil. Both ships completed operations smoothly at their respective terminals — EVTL and LCT — under the supervision of their agents, M. International and Al-Pine Marine.

Meanwhile, two new vessels berthed at Port Qasim for unloading and loading operations. These included M.V-MSC TIA V (PQA Reg. No. 36457), a container vessel managed by MSC Pakistan, which berthed at QT2-II at 09:30 hours, and M.V-ONYX 1, which arrived later at EVTL at 21:00 hours for handling operations.

The PQA report emphasized smooth port operations with optimal turnaround times and efficient handling of cargo. Port authorities reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining international shipping standards and ensuring operational transparency for the benefit of all maritime stakeholders.
