Karachi, October 2, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) on Thursday issued an update on shipping operations to ensure smooth facilitation of maritime stakeholders.

According to the latest report, Port Qasim monitored shipping movements over the past 24 hours, including arrivals, departures, and berthing schedules of various vessels.

The shipping update indicated that M.V. JIN SHUN HE, carrying containers, sailed from Port Qasim at 12:00 hours under CMA CGM Pakistan. Meanwhile, M.V. ALEXANDROS III, transporting sugar, departed the port at 14:30 under the management of P.N.S.C. Both vessels maintained standard drafts during their sailing operations, reflecting efficient port handling procedures.

On the berthing side, several vessels arrived at Port Qasim for unloading and loading operations. M.T. LONDON STAR carrying H.S.F.O, M.T. WENCHE VICTORY with soybean oil, and M.V. MEGHNA SUN transporting coal were all berthed successfully at designated terminals. Additionally, M.V. HG NAPLES carrying rapeseed and M.V. ULTRA ENDURANCE transporting cement were safely accommodated, reflecting effective port scheduling and coordination among shipping agents.

Port Qasim officials emphasized that continuous monitoring and timely updates are crucial to maintaining the efficiency of shipping operations at the port. Stakeholders, including shipping companies and cargo handlers, are advised to follow the port’s notifications to ensure smooth logistics and minimize delays.
