Karachi, September 6, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its latest report on shipping operations for Saturday, providing an overview of activities during the past 24 hours.

The update, issued at 0800 hours, is aimed at keeping stakeholders informed about vessel movements, berthing schedules, and cargo handling at the busy Port.

According to PQA, one vessel, M.T-ULLSWATER, set sail on Saturday afternoon, completing its loading and discharge operations before departing at 15:30. The report further detailed the berthing of four ships at various terminals. These included M.V-MSC YORK VII, which berthed at QT2-II at 10:00 hours, M.T-HAI TUN ZUO at FOTCO around 11:00, M.V-IVS WINDSOR at PIBT by midday, and M.T-CHEMROAD WING, which was accommodated at EVTL in the evening.

The authority emphasized that Port Qasim remains one of the country’s most important maritime gateways, handling a diverse range of imports and exports through its terminals. With increasing trade flows, timely shipping updates are critical for smooth coordination between ship agents, cargo handlers, and businesses relying on efficient turnaround.

Officials highlighted that continuous modernization of Port facilities and the adoption of digital tracking systems are streamlining cargo clearance and vessel scheduling. This ensures that shipping operations remain efficient, even with rising volumes of international trade passing through Karachi.
