Port Qasim Vessel Movement Update – March 28, 2026

Port Qasim Activity

Karachi, March 28, 2026 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily vessel movement report, providing key updates for stakeholders in Pakistan’s maritime and logistics sectors. The report reflects shipping activity recorded over the past 24 hours and was issued at 8:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PKT).

According to PQA officials, vessel operations remained steady at Port Qasim, one of the country’s busiest deep-sea ports handling bulk cargo, petroleum products, and containerized goods.

During the reporting period, two vessels departed from the port. Oil tanker M.T. Deira Ghair sailed from the FOTCO terminal carrying approximately 34,062 metric tons of motor gasoline (MOGAS). Meanwhile, container vessel M.V. Charlotte Schulte also departed from QT2-II terminal after completing its scheduled operations.

On the arrivals side, bulk carrier M.V. Bao Shun successfully berthed at PIBT terminal with a consignment of around 52,000 metric tons of coal, supporting Pakistan’s energy and industrial sectors. Additionally, M.V. Charlotte Schulte docked earlier at QT2-II terminal to handle containerized cargo under the management of Ocean Network Express.

Port authorities highlighted that efficient vessel turnaround and timely berthing operations are essential for maintaining smooth trade flow and minimizing congestion. The continuous monitoring and reporting of vessel activity by PQA plays a vital role in ensuring transparency and operational efficiency within Pakistan’s maritime industry.

The daily shipping updates are widely used by importers, exporters, shipping agents, and logistics providers to plan and streamline their operations.
