The price of the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max in Pakistan is expected to be around PKR 550,000, while its official international price is set at USD 1,199.
Apple has officially launched the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, bringing significant upgrades in design, performance, and camera technology.
One of the biggest changes this year is Apple’s return to an aluminum unibody design, crafted from Series 7000 aluminum for enhanced strength and durability. The iPhone 17 Pro Max is available in three premium colors: deep blue, cosmic orange, and silver. This shift away from titanium has also enabled larger batteries across the Pro lineup, promising better endurance.
On the display front, the iPhone 17 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR screen with ProMotion adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz. The display can drop to 1Hz for Always-On mode and offers an incredible 3,000 nits of peak brightness, making it one of the brightest screens on any smartphone. Apple has also introduced Ceramic Shield 2 glass, which is three times more scratch-resistant and four times more crack-resistant than the previous generation.
The camera system has received a major overhaul. The Pro Max now includes a 48MP telephoto Fusion sensor with a 100mm f/2.8 lens, capable of up to 8x digital zoom. The wide and ultrawide lenses also use 48MP sensors, while the 18MP front camera with Center Stage ensures perfect framing for selfies and video calls.
Under the hood, the device runs on the powerful A19 Pro chipset with a 6-core CPU, 6-core GPU with hardware ray tracing, and a 16-core Neural Engine to enhance Apple Intelligence features. A new vapor chamber cooling system keeps performance stable during heavy use.
Connectivity is also upgraded with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and extended eSIM support in more regions. Apple claims the iPhone 17 Pro Max delivers the longest battery life ever in an iPhone, with up to 39 hours of video playback.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 17 Pro Max begin on September 12, with shipments starting on September 19.
