Prince Harry Faces Backlash Over Diana Documentary

Entertainment World

Reports surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s alleged plan to create a documentary on Princess Diana have triggered intense online criticism. Many royal watchers argue the project risks reopening old wounds, while others question the couple’s motives for revisiting the late princess’s tragic story.

Former royal protection officer Dai Davies strongly criticized Prince Harry for fueling conspiracy theories about Diana’s death. Speaking to GB News, Davies advised the Duke of Sussex to “engage your brain before opening your mouth” and focus on facts rather than speculation. He expressed frustration that Harry continues to revisit the events surrounding Diana’s fatal Paris car crash in 1997, calling such discussions “nonsense.”

The documentary is reportedly planned for release in 2027, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana’s passing. According to The Sun, Harry and Meghan have pitched several ideas to Netflix, but the Diana project is said to have drawn the most interest.

Davies, speaking from his law enforcement background, added that he prefers evidence-based accounts rather than what he views as emotional outbursts from the Prince. Despite the controversy, insiders claim the streaming platform sees high potential in the documentary, with some predicting it could become one of the couple’s most significant ventures yet.
