Prince William hires crisis manager amid reports of estranged relationship with Prince Harry

Prince William has reportedly hired crisis management expert Liza Ravenscroft amid ongoing reports of tension between him and his brother, Prince Harry. Ravenscroft is known for helping high-profile clients navigate their toughest challenges, aiming to resolve issues quickly while minimizing reputational damage.

Though traditionally brought in for high-stakes crises, reports suggest the future king has engaged her services in a non-crisis capacity. According to royal expert Dr. Tessa Dunlop, the move could be related to Prince Harry, who is close to regaining his security arrangements. This would allow the Duke of Sussex to return to the UK more frequently with his family, potentially intensifying tensions between the brothers.

Despite King Charles’s desire for reconciliation, Prince William is reportedly not open to mending ties with Prince Harry. The crisis adviser’s role may involve helping manage public perceptions and soften the Prince of Wales’s stance toward his sibling.

However, Dr. Dunlop raises doubts about the effectiveness of such efforts, noting William’s history of defying advice. She cites his decision to travel with Prince George on a helicopter, against expert guidance, as an example. “How do you make England’s untouchable heir-to-the-throne do something he doesn’t want to do?” she wrote in The Independent.

The hiring of Ravenscroft highlights the increasing reliance of the royal family on professional PR and crisis management expertise to navigate complex family dynamics under intense public scrutiny.
