Proton Pakistan, in response to the prevailing uncertain economic conditions in the country, has announced an increase in car prices. This decision also came as a result of the devaluation of the Pakistani Rupee against the US dollar, coupled with high inflation rates.
Effective from today, the revised prices reflect the challenges faced by the company due to the unstable economic situation and volatile exchange rates. These factors have significantly raised production costs for Proton Pakistan, compelling them to raise retail selling prices and shift the burden onto the market.

Reportedly, the announcement of the price hike was delayed as the company awaited the arrival of new CKD kits from Malaysia. However, considering the prevailing circumstances, Proton Pakistan decided to implement the revised prices without further delay.
