PSB Ensures Smooth Preparations for Asian Games Hockey

Amidst the suspension of key members within the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF), the momentum for the national hockey team’s training remains unshaken as stated by Shoaib Khoso, the Director General of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB).

The suspension decree, originating from the Prime Minister’s Office, highlights the PSB’s commitment to oversee a transparent completion of the PHF election proceedings.

In spite of this setback, the team’s management and selection committee continue to function without disruption, paving the way for smooth groundwork leading up to the imminent Games.

In preparation for the event, a training camp is poised to kick off, gathering approximately 35 potential players and ten officials at the Naseer Bunda Hockey Ground in Islamabad.

Furthermore, underlining the significance of the Asian Games as a pathway to the Paris Olympics, the PSB reaffirms its unwavering dedication to bolster the national team across a spectrum of contests.

This emphasis centers on an uninterrupted trajectory of preparation and involvement, signifying a steadfast support for the team’s participation in these crucial events.
