Islamabad, October 11, 2025 – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has released the latest weather forecast for Punjab covering Saturday, October 11, and Sunday, October 12, 2025.
According to the PMD report, the province is likely to experience mostly dry and mild weather conditions over the weekend, with cooler nights expected in upper regions.
On Saturday, dry weather is predicted across most districts of Punjab, including Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, and Bahawalpur. The hilly regions such as Murree and Galiyat may witness noticeably colder nights, though the days will remain pleasant and clear.
On Sunday, similar dry conditions are expected to persist throughout Punjab, with a slight drop in nighttime temperatures. Northern and high-altitude areas are likely to experience chilly mornings, especially in Murree, Galiyat, and surrounding hill stations.
The synoptic situation indicates that continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, contributing to dry weather and limited cloud activity.
During the past 24 hours, dry weather dominated across much of Pakistan, including Punjab, with cold conditions observed in the northern regions. A brief spell of light rain measuring 01mm was recorded in Kalam.
Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 37°C was observed in Dadu, Khairpur, and Shaheed Benazirabad, while temperatures in most Punjab districts remained moderate under clear skies.
