Punjab Weather Forecast for Tuesday

On Tuesday, Punjab will witness a mix of dry and hot conditions across most of its districts. However, certain areas are likely to experience significant weather changes. The PMD has predicted rain-wind-thunderstorms in Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Layyah, and Dera Ghazi Khan. These thunderstorms could bring gusty winds, lightning, and short but intense rain spells.

The weather in Murree, Galliyat, and surrounding areas is expected to be partly cloudy, with a chance of light rain or drizzle. Thunderstorms may also occur sporadically, particularly during evening and night hours. The impact of these thunderstorms in Punjab could lead to localized disruptions, including reduced visibility, temporary power outages, and minor flooding in low-lying areas.

The PMD has advised residents in Punjab to stay alert for sudden weather changes and to take necessary precautions against thunderstorms. Farmers have been particularly urged to safeguard crops, as unpredictable thunderstorms could impact agricultural activity. Travelers, especially those heading towards northern Punjab regions, should remain cautious of potential weather hazards.

With the westerly wave expected to persist until March 27, more thunderstorms may develop in parts of Punjab in the coming days. Authorities and residents should stay updated with the latest weather forecasts and advisories issued by the PMD.
