Quetta Customs seizes NCP vehicles and contraband worth Rs235 million

Quetta, January 25, 2026 – In a major crackdown on smuggling and illegal trade, the Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Quetta has seized Non-Customs Paid (NCP) vehicles and various contraband items valued at approximately Rs. 235 million.

The operations were conducted across multiple locations within Quetta and surrounding areas, based on credible intelligence and strategic planning.

The seized items include luxury vehicles such as Toyota Mark X and Honda Accord, as well as heavy-duty dumper trucks, bowzers, and trailers. In addition, customs officials recovered contraband goods including betel nuts, tyres, Chinese salt, solar batteries, and silver. The tentative CIF value of all seized vehicles and goods has been officially estimated at Rs. 235 million, reflecting the scale of illicit trade being intercepted.

These intelligence-driven operations highlight Pakistan Customs’ ongoing commitment to combating smuggling and safeguarding the country’s economy. Law enforcement agencies in Balochistan provided crucial support and coordination, contributing significantly to the successful execution of the raids.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) emphasized that these enforcement measures are part of its broader strategy to curb illegal trade, protect legitimate businesses, and preserve national economic interests. Authorities confirmed that such coordinated actions will continue in the future, ensuring strict adherence to customs regulations while preventing the inflow of unauthorized vehicles and goods.
