Rain Abandons Pakistan vs. India Match in Asia Cup

The highly anticipated match between Pakistan and India in the ACC Women’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023 was unfortunately abandoned due to heavy rainfall.

The game, which was scheduled to take place at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground in Hong Kong on June 17, 2023, couldn’t see a single ball being bowled.

As a result of the abandonment, both teams were awarded one point each, leaving them with a total of four points from their three previous outings in the tournament. Despite the disappointment, both Pakistan and India managed to secure a spot in the semi-finals.

India, having a superior run-rate over Pakistan, claimed the top spot on the table. In the upcoming semi-finals, India will face Sri Lanka, while Pakistan will go up against Bangladesh.
