Ramadan Bank Timings in Pakistan Next Week

Karachi, March 8, 2025 – Citizens across Pakistan are advised to take note of the revised Ramadan bank timings for the upcoming week.

Due to the reduced working hours during the holy month of Ramadan, individuals should plan their financial transactions accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has officially announced the adjusted bank timings for Ramadan-ul-Mubarak 1446 AH. These revised bank timings will be followed by all commercial banks, development finance institutions, and microfinance banks across the country to facilitate smooth banking operations while accommodating the spiritual and religious commitments of customers and employees.

During the month of Ramadan, the State Bank of Pakistan will operate with the following schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM (without a break).

• Friday: 09:00 AM to 12:30 PM (without a break).

Similarly, for public dealings, the bank timings will be as follows:

• Monday to Thursday: 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM (without a break).

• Friday: 09:00 AM to 12:30 PM (without a break).

These adjusted bank timings will help ensure that essential banking services remain available to customers while accommodating the reduced working hours during Ramadan. Customers are encouraged to complete their banking transactions within these hours to avoid delays, as many branches may experience increased foot traffic due to shorter working days.

As Ramadan progresses, many banks will also extend digital banking services to help customers manage their finances seamlessly. Online banking, ATMs, and mobile banking applications will remain accessible 24/7, allowing individuals to conduct transactions without the need for in-branch visits.

It is important for customers to stay informed about these bank timings to manage their financial affairs efficiently. After the conclusion of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, the bank timings will automatically revert to the pre-Ramadan schedule. Citizens are encouraged to keep track of any updates from their respective banks regarding operational changes or additional services offered during the holy month.
