Spanish football giants cross €1.22 billion in annual revenue, driven by strong stadium and commercial income growth.
Real Madrid has achieved a historic financial milestone, reporting record annual revenue of €1.221 billion ($1.4 billion) for the latest financial year.
The figures were approved by the club’s board of directors on Tuesday, highlighting the Spanish football powerhouse’s continued commercial and operational success.
According to the club, total revenue increased by 3.1% compared with the previous financial year. Real Madrid stated that no other sports organization has reached such a high level of annual income, reinforcing its position among the world’s most valuable and financially successful sporting institutions.
A major contributor to the revenue growth was the increased earnings generated by the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Revenue from the iconic venue climbed by 11% over the previous year, reflecting the positive impact of ongoing modernization efforts and expanded event-hosting capabilities.
The renovated stadium has become a key source of income beyond football matches, helping the club diversify its revenue streams.
Marketing activities also played a significant role in the club’s financial performance. Commercial and sponsorship-related income rose by 6%, supported by new partnerships, brand collaborations, and global marketing initiatives.
Real Madrid continues to leverage its worldwide fan base and strong brand recognition to attract lucrative commercial opportunities.
The club’s financial report also revealed a pre-tax profit of €26.3 million. This achievement extends Real Madrid’s remarkable streak of profitability to 26 consecutive years, demonstrating long-term financial stability and disciplined management.
In addition to record revenue, Real Madrid reported net assets worth €624 million and cash reserves totaling €83 million. The club’s net debt stood at just €9 million, reflecting a healthy financial position despite substantial investments in infrastructure and development projects.
However, the debt figure excludes financing linked to the extensive redevelopment of the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. Real Madrid disclosed that total investment in the stadium transformation project has now reached €1.407 billion, underlining the scale of the club’s commitment to enhancing one of football’s most iconic venues.
With record-breaking revenue, sustained profitability, and continued investment in infrastructure, Real Madrid remains a global leader in both sporting and financial performance.
