The Realme 16 Pro Series, which was officially introduced in global markets earlier this year, is expected to launch in Pakistan soon. While the company has confirmed its arrival in the local market, the official prices for Pakistan have not yet been announced.
The new lineup includes two mid-range smartphones — Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+ — offering users different design choices and performance options. One of the key design differences between the two models is their shape. The Realme 16 Pro features a flat display, frame, and back, while the Realme 16 Pro+ comes with a curved design, providing a more premium look and feel.
Both smartphones come with IP69 certification, making them highly resistant to water and dust. This level of durability is rarely seen in mid-range devices and could appeal to users looking for rugged smartphones.
Another major highlight of the Realme 16 Pro series is its massive 7,000 mAh battery, which promises extended battery life for everyday usage. The devices support 80W fast charging via USB-C, allowing users to quickly recharge the large battery.
In terms of display, both models feature a 6.79-inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, offering smooth scrolling and an enhanced gaming experience. The screens also support impressive brightness levels, with peak HDR brightness reaching up to 6,500 nits. The standard model offers 1,400 nits full-screen brightness, while the Pro+ variant reaches up to 1,800 nits across the display.
The biggest differences between the two phones are found in the processor and camera setup. The Realme 16 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max chipset, while the Realme 16 Pro+ runs on the more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, delivering stronger performance for demanding tasks and gaming.
For photography, both smartphones include a 50MP front camera, a 200MP main camera, and an 8MP ultrawide lens. However, the Realme 16 Pro+ adds a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, giving users enhanced zoom capabilities.
Realme has also promised three major Android updates and four years of security updates, ensuring longer software support for users.
With strong specifications and modern features, the Realme 16 Pro Series is expected to attract significant attention once it officially launches in Pakistan.
