It has barely been half a year since Realme introduced the Realme 15 Pro, yet the company already appears to be gearing up for its next big mid-range release.

The upcoming Realme 16 Pro has now surfaced on China’s TENAA certification platform, giving us an early look at its expected specifications and confirming that the device is inching closer to launch.

Listed under model number RMX5121, the Realme 16 Pro is believed to be the Chinese variant of the new model. According to the certification details, the smartphone will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772 × 1272 pixels, indicating a sharp and immersive viewing experience—significantly impressive for its segment.

One of the biggest upgrades comes in the camera department. The Realme 16 Pro is reported to sport a 200MP primary camera, a massive jump from the 50MP main sensor found on the Realme 15 Pro. This is paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera, while the front houses a 50MP selfie shooter, suggesting a major focus on photography and detailed content creation.

Battery performance also sees a huge improvement. The certification listing reveals a 6,830mAh rated battery, with a 7,000mAh typical capacity—one of the largest batteries seen on a Realme smartphone to date. This should translate into exceptional endurance for heavy users. Storage options will reportedly go up to 1TB, accompanied by as much as 16GB of RAM, catering to power users and multitaskers.

In terms of design and build, the Realme 16 Pro is said to measure 7.75mm in thickness and weigh 192g, making it relatively slim despite its large battery. The phone is expected to run Android 16-based Realme UI 7 out of the box, aligning with Realme’s next-generation software roadmap.

With its TENAA listing now public, the Realme 16 Pro is widely expected to launch in early 2025, bringing notable upgrades in display, camera, battery, and overall performance compared to its predecessor.
