Realme has officially shared new details about its upcoming GT 8 Pro, the next-generation flagship in the GT lineup.
The highly anticipated GT 8 series is set to launch in China this October, with a global rollout expected later this year, bringing powerful performance and flagship-grade features to users worldwide.
The company has confirmed that the Realme GT 8 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, delivering top-tier performance, improved efficiency, and advanced AI capabilities. This positions the GT 8 Pro among the most powerful Android smartphones of 2025, targeting gamers, content creators, and power users alike.
One of the phone’s major highlights will be its QHD resolution BOE display — often referred to as 2K — which uses a customized Q10+ panel. The screen will offer an ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate, improved brightness, and enhanced eye protection technology for a more comfortable viewing experience. Realme’s Vice President Xu Qi Chase also unveiled the front design of the device, showcasing a flat display with ultra-slim, symmetrical bezels, giving the phone a premium and modern look.
Additionally, the GT 8 series will ship with Realme UI 7.0 based on Android, featuring a smoother interface and an enhanced gaming experience out-of-the-box. This software upgrade is expected to deliver better performance, improved customization options, and deeper AI integration.
Realme is also focusing on affordability without compromising flagship features. Chase revealed that the GT 8 series will be priced under CNY 5,000 (around $700), making it one of the most competitively priced Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 smartphones in the market.
With its powerful chipset, high-end display, upgraded software, and aggressive pricing, the Realme GT 8 Pro is shaping up to be a strong contender in the flagship smartphone segment. More details, including camera specifications and launch offers, are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
