Realme is preparing to launch its highly anticipated Neo8 series in China, and ahead of the official announcement, detailed specifications of the Realme Neo8 have surfaced through China’s TENAA certification database.

The listing, along with official confirmations from Realme, provides a comprehensive look at the smartphone’s display, performance, camera setup, and battery capabilities.

According to the TENAA listing, the Realme Neo8 will feature a flat 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 2772 x 1272 pixel resolution. The screen will support an ultra-smooth 165Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for gaming and high-frame-rate content. Realme has also confirmed that the device uses Samsung’s latest M14 OLED panel, which is currently the most advanced mobile OLED material from Samsung Display.

The Samsung M14 OLED panel offers up to 1,000 nits of peak manual brightness and an impressive 6,500 nits of peak local brightness, ensuring excellent outdoor visibility. Compared to the previous M13 generation, the M14 material delivers notable improvements in brightness and power efficiency. The display also houses a 16MP front-facing camera and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner for enhanced security and faster unlocking.

Under the hood, the Realme Neo8 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, excluding the Elite variant. The processor is paired with up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage, positioning the Neo8 as a powerful flagship-level smartphone aimed at performance-focused users.

Camera capabilities are another highlight. The rear setup includes a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. This versatile camera system is designed to handle everything from detailed portraits to long-range zoom photography.

Battery life is expected to be a major selling point, as the Realme Neo8 packs a massive 8,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. Despite the large battery, the phone maintains a relatively slim profile, measuring 162 x 77.07 x 8.3mm and weighing 215 grams.

The device will feature IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance and will launch with Android 16-based Realme UI 7. With these flagship-grade specifications, the Realme Neo8 is shaping up to be one of the most powerful smartphones in its segment ahead of its official debut in China.
