Realme has introduced a new budget-friendly smartphone, the Realme Note 80, in select Southeast Asian markets. The device is designed to cater to entry-level users looking for a large display, reliable battery life, and essential smartphone features at an affordable price.

The Realme Note 80 comes with a 6.74-inch LCD display that delivers HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, ensuring smoother scrolling and an improved viewing experience compared to traditional 60Hz panels. The display also supports up to 563 nits of peak brightness in high brightness mode, making it easier to view content under bright lighting conditions. Additionally, it offers a 180Hz touch sampling rate, which improves responsiveness during everyday usage such as browsing and gaming.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset, paired with a Mali-G57 GPU for basic graphics performance. The device supports up to 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, providing sufficient space for apps, photos, and media files. Users who require more storage can expand it further via a microSD card slot.

In terms of cameras, the Realme Note 80 features a single 8MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and autofocus. While the camera setup is simple, it is suitable for casual photography and everyday shots. As for pricing, the Realme Note 80 starts at THB 3,599 (approximately $115) in Thailand for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers.
