Review of Honda CG 150 in Pakistan: Price and Specs

Atlas Honda has revamped its portfolio with the debut of the brand-new Honda CG 150, delivering a significant update after years of minor changes restricted mostly to sticker refreshes.

Serving as the economical option within the 150cc category, much like the CG 125 in its own segment, the latest CG 150 merges traditional motorcycle charm with light modern enhancements.

Pricing & Variants

The Honda CG 150 comes in three stylish color selections:

Red – Rs 449,900 (ex-factory)

Black – Rs 459,900 (ex-factory)

Matte Green Two-Tone – Rs 459,900 (ex-factory)

Design – Classic Meets Modern

Taking cues from the iconic CG 125, the CG 150’s styling reflects Honda’s legacy.

A circular LED headlight, chrome-plated fenders, and a flat bench seat preserve its retro personality, while alloy rims and hybrid digital-analog gauges inject a modern character.

The matte green finish with gold accents is especially striking, targeting riders who want flair alongside practicality.

Its exposed chassis and visible engine reinforce a raw, mechanical personality, giving the bike an authentic vintage identity.

Engine & Performance

At its core, the CG 150 features a 149.2cc 4-stroke SOHC air-cooled motor that delivers 11.9 PS at 7,500 rpm and 12.5 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm.

The engine mates with a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox and supports both self and kick-start functions. Its 9.1:1 compression ratio ensures a solid compromise between output and economy.

Technical Highlights

Suspension: Front telescopic forks, rear twin cushion shocks

Tires: 2.75-18 (front), 90/90-18 (rear)

Seat Height: 773 mm

Ground Clearance: 171 mm

Fuel Tank: 11.4L with 2.1L reserve

Wheelbase: 1,316 mm

CBS (Combi Brake System) for better safety

LED lighting for improved clarity

Pros

Evergreen retro appeal with modern touches

Strong value for the 150cc bracket

Relaxed upright riding stance

Renowned Honda reliability

CBS braking for safer control

Cons

No fuel injection—still carbureted, which feels dated

Modest performance versus sport-oriented 150cc options

Lacks premium features like ABS or full digital display

Verdict

The 2025 Honda CG 150 makes a strong case for riders seeking trustworthiness, vintage looks, and affordability over high-end technology.

Though not the strongest contender in its class, its combination of heritage styling and Honda dependability will likely attract both veteran riders and beginners wanting a practical yet stylish 150cc commuter.
