Riddara RD6

Pakistan’s automotive industry is gearing up for a major leap in sustainable mobility with the anticipated launch of the Riddara RD6 electric pickup truck in August 2025.

This revolutionary EV promises to reshape the pickup truck market by offering a powerful and eco-friendly alternative to conventional petrol and hybrid models.

Designed for both urban environments and rugged terrains, the RD6 aims to appeal to a wide range of consumers—from adventure seekers to environmentally conscious commuters.

The launch is being spearheaded by Capital Smart Motors (CSM), a prominent name in the local auto sector. CSM has partnered with Radar Auto, a pure electric vehicle division of the global automotive giant Geely Auto Group.

This collaboration marks a strategic milestone in Pakistan’s transition toward cleaner transportation and signals growing confidence in the future of electric vehicles (EVs) in the region.

CSM announced the launch via social media, declaring the RD6 as “built to lead” and “coming to take over,” reflecting bold ambitions for the vehicle’s market performance.

This development follows the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between CSM and Geely, which aims to accelerate EV adoption and expand product offerings tailored for Pakistan’s market.

While local specifications will be confirmed at the time of launch, international models of the Riddara RD6 offer a glimpse of its powerful features and advanced technology.
