Rihanna appears to have responded to EJ Johnson after the media personality claimed her late arrival delayed the Dior Spring/Summer 2027 show during Paris Fashion Week.
Johnson, 34, the son of NBA legend Magic Johnson, shared a recap of the Dior presentation held on 29 September. While praising the show as “beautiful”, he claimed it began about an hour late because Rihanna had not arrived on time.
“It did start an hour late because Rihanna was late,” Johnson said, adding that attendees had been willing to wait for her.

The exchange gained fresh attention on 2 October after The Hollywood Fix posted a video on Instagram showing Johnson outside his Paris hotel. The footage appeared to show him struggling to enter the building, while photographers and staff could be heard addressing the situation.
Rihanna, 38, left a brief one-word response beneath the post: “damn.” Her comment quickly attracted nearly 22,000 likes.
Neither Rihanna nor Johnson has publicly elaborated on the exchange. Representatives for both reportedly did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Rihanna attended the Dior show wearing a black dress and cover-up, paired with closed-toe heels, dark sunglasses and an updo.

She was later reported to have attended partner A$AP Rocky’s Paris concert with two of their children.
The appearance added to Rihanna’s high-profile presence during Paris Fashion Week, where her fashion choices frequently attract attention from fans and the media.

Johnson has previously commented on Rihanna’s fashion choices.
