Actress Rumer Willis has set the record straight, firmly stating that she does not live off her famous parents’ wealth and works multiple jobs to support her young daughter.

The 37-year-old star, who is the daughter of Hollywood icons Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, shared a candid Instagram Reel highlighting the realities of single motherhood. In the video, Willis is seen juggling multiple items, surrounded by text reading “Single Moms Be Like,” alongside labels such as “lunch,” “play dates,” “meal prepping,” and “working out.”

However, after receiving critical and judgmental comments, Willis reshared the video on her Instagram Stories to clarify her situation. “I work four different jobs to provide for my daughter. I am the sole provider for her. I don’t live off a trust fund or get money from my parents,” she wrote, adding that she often manages parenting responsibilities without extra help.

Willis welcomed her two-year-old daughter, Louetta, with ex-boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas. She emphasized that while she recognizes her privileges, her post was about highlighting shared struggles rather than comparing hardships.

“I am very aware that I have privileges in my life that many people don’t, and I don’t take that for granted,” she explained. “But this wasn’t about privilege. It was about acknowledging the everyday challenges many single parents face.”

The actress also urged followers to pause before making assumptions, noting that people experience different struggles, even under varying circumstances. Her candid message has since resonated with many fans, sparking conversations around parenting, judgment, and empathy on social media.
