KARACHI: The Pak Rupee depreciated by 17 paisas against the dollar on Thursday due to increase in demand for import payments.
The rupee ended at Rs159.30 to the dollar as compared with the previous day’s closing of Rs159.13 in the interbank foreign exchange market.
Currency experts said that foreign currency demand for import payments remained high during the days which brought down the rupee value.
