Pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter is showing her love and support for mentor and former tourmate Taylor Swift, after the superstar made music history once again with her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Monday, October 13, Carpenter celebrated Swift’s milestone, as the album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with a record-breaking 4 million first-week sales — the highest of Swift’s career.
Swift, 35, expressed gratitude to fans in a heartfelt post earlier that day, writing, “I have 4 million thank-yous I want to send to the fans, and 4 million reasons to feel even more proud of this album than I already was.” Carpenter, 26, reshared Swift’s message and added, “Of. All. Time.” along with several heart emojis, applauding her friend’s monumental achievement.
The Espresso hitmaker’s tribute came as Showgirl officially became Swift’s 15th No. 1 album — surpassing Jay-Z and Drake, with only The Beatles ahead. Swift reflected on her journey, recalling how her first album sold 40,000 copies in its debut week back in 2006.
Carpenter holds a special place in this success story as the only featured artist on The Life of a Showgirl, performing on its title track. Beyond the studio, Carpenter joined Swift across Latin America, Asia, and Australia during the Eras Tour, and delighted fans with a surprise live duet of Espresso in New Orleans.
