Rumors suggesting that pop sensation and actress Sabrina Carpenter has joined the cast of Final Destination 7 have been spreading rapidly across social media, sparking excitement among fans of the long-running horror franchise. However, as of now, there is no official confirmation supporting these claims.
Carpenter, 26, has not been announced as part of the cast for the seventh installment of Final Destination. Several viral posts circulating on X (formerly Twitter) and other platforms have claimed her involvement, but these appear to be unverified fan-generated rumors rather than information from credible studio sources.
One widely shared post even cited Deadline as confirming the “Espresso” hitmaker’s casting. However, no such report exists on Deadline or any other major entertainment publication, further casting doubt on the speculation.
The upcoming film—reportedly referred to in early development as Bloodlines 2 or tentatively titled Last Chance—is still in its early production phase, and no cast members have been officially revealed so far.
Final Destination 7 Release Date Update
Final Destination 7 is officially in development at New Line Cinema, following the box office success of Final Destination: Bloodlines in 2025. While Warner Bros. has not announced a release date, industry expectations point to a possible summer 2027 or 2028 debut. Screenwriter Lori Evans Taylor, who co-wrote Bloodlines, has been brought on to write the script.
Sabrina Carpenter’s Confirmed Projects
While Final Destination 7 is not part of her confirmed lineup, Carpenter has a busy 2026 ahead. She is set to star in and produce Universal Pictures’ Alice in Wonderland musical, and will also appear in a Disney+ Muppet Show special alongside Maya Rudolph and Seth Rogen.
For now, fans should treat the Final Destination 7 casting buzz as speculation—until an official announcement is made.
