Samsung has officially expanded its Certified Re-Newed (CRN) program for the Galaxy S25 series to Europe, bringing refurbished flagship smartphones to more customers at reduced prices.

After launching the program in the US market back in August, the company has now rolled it out across three major European countries: the UK, Germany, and France.

In the UK and Germany, the initiative continues under the name “Certified Re-Newed,” while in France it is branded as “Refurbished Premium by Samsung” (Reconditionné Premium par Samsung). Despite the different names, the program offers the same benefits and quality standards across all three regions.

Samsung’s Certified Re-Newed Galaxy S25 lineup includes the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, although availability varies depending on storage configurations and market. Some storage options are currently out of stock, and models such as the Galaxy S25 Edge and Galaxy S25 FE are not yet included in the program, as they were launched later.

Only top-grade returned devices qualify for Samsung’s refurbished program. These phones undergo extensive cleaning and must pass more than 100 quality checks before being approved for resale. If any repairs are required, Samsung uses genuine replacement parts, including a certified new battery. Each device is also updated with the latest software and assigned a new IMEI number.

The refurbished Galaxy S25 devices are shipped in brand-new, eco-friendly packaging made from recyclable materials. Samsung also includes the same in-box accessories as a new phone, which typically consist of a USB-C cable and a SIM ejector tool.

One key advantage of Samsung’s program is that Certified Re-Newed phones come with the same standard warranty as brand-new devices, setting them apart from many third-party refurbishment options. Customers can also opt for Samsung Care+ for additional protection, including a free battery replacement if capacity drops below 80 percent and coverage against theft.

Samsung says the expansion supports its commitment to sustainability while making premium Galaxy innovations, including Galaxy AI features, more accessible to European consumers.
