Samsung is gearing up to expand its One UI 8 beta program to more Galaxy smartphones and wearables starting next week.
Initially launched with the Galaxy S25 series in May 2025, and later rolled out to Samsung’s latest foldables, the One UI 8 beta is now coming to last year’s flagship models across the US, UK, India, and South Korea.
Eligible Devices for One UI 8 Beta
Starting next week, users of the following devices can sign up for the One UI 8 beta via the Samsung Members app:
Galaxy S24
Galaxy S24+
Galaxy S24 Ultra
Galaxy S24 FE
Galaxy Z Fold6
Galaxy Z Flip6
While this rollout is limited to the beta version, Samsung plans to launch the stable One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S25 series in September 2025. Other devices, including those joining the beta now, will receive the final version gradually based on user feedback and optimization.
Older Galaxy Phones to Join in September
Samsung has confirmed that more smartphones will be added to the beta program beginning in September. These include:
Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, S23 FE
Galaxy Z Fold5, Z Flip5
Galaxy A54, A55, A35
Galaxy A36 (Surprisingly listed, while A56 is missing)
Although Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed S-series Fan Edition models in each group, the inclusion of the S24 FE in the beta suggests other FE models will follow suit.
One UI 8 Watch Update Details
On the wearables front, the Galaxy Watch Ultra has already received the stable One UI 8 Watch update. Interestingly, the Galaxy Watch7 is still in the beta phase. Samsung has assured users that One UI 8 Watch will expand to more models, including older Galaxy Watches, later this year.
As Samsung continues its phased rollout, more Galaxy users can expect to experience the latest features and improvements packed into One UI 8.
