Samsung has begun rolling out the stable One UI 7 update, based on Android 15, to its budget smartphone Galaxy A06 4G.
While the company is already testing Android 16 through the One UI 8 beta on flagship devices, it continues to expand One UI 7 availability across its broader Galaxy lineup.
The Samsung Galaxy A06 4G is the latest model to receive the One UI 7 update. This rollout includes firmware version A065FXXU4BYF6, with the update size clocking in at around 3GB. Alongside a refreshed user interface and new features, the update also includes the May 2025 Android security patch, enhancing device protection and performance.
The update introduces smoother animations, better app performance, enhanced privacy options, and redesigned quick settings for improved usability. These features align the budget A-series phone with Samsung’s latest software experience already available on more premium models.
Currently, the One UI 7 stable version for Galaxy A06 4G is being seeded in several Asian markets, including the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Users in these countries should receive an automatic notification, but those who haven’t can manually check for the update by going to Settings > Software update on their device.
Launched as a value-focused smartphone, the Galaxy A06 4G comes in two configurations — 64GB storage with 4GB RAM, and 128GB storage with 4GB RAM. Priced affordably, it offers a reliable experience for budget-conscious consumers, and the One UI 7 update further boosts its overall value by delivering new Android 15 features and essential security patches.
Samsung’s commitment to updating its entry-level devices reflects its broader strategy of improving software support across all price segments. As more devices receive One UI 7, users can expect a more unified and optimized Galaxy experience, regardless of device tier.
Stay tuned as Samsung continues its phased rollout of Android 15 and prepares for the upcoming launch of One UI 8 based on Android 16.
