Samsung appears to be gearing up for the early launch of the Galaxy A57 5G, just months after unveiling the Galaxy A56 last March.

According to recent rumors, the new mid-range smartphone could be introduced as early as the second week of this month, suggesting an official announcement may be imminent.

Adding weight to these claims, the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G has now been certified by the Bluetooth SIG, a key step that typically signals an approaching launch. The certification lists multiple region-specific variants of the device, confirming Samsung’s plans for a wide rollout. Among them is the SM-A576S, which is expected to be an exclusive model for SK Telecom in South Korea.

While Samsung has yet to officially comment on the Galaxy A57 5G, previous leaks have already provided a clear picture of what to expect. Leaked renders suggest that the phone will closely resemble the Galaxy A56 in terms of design, maintaining Samsung’s familiar Galaxy A-series aesthetic. However, under the hood, there are several notable upgrades.

According to the device’s TENAA listing, the Galaxy A57 5G will feature a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display. The phone is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at up to 2.9GHz, widely believed to be the upcoming Exynos 1680 chipset. This should bring improved performance and efficiency compared to its predecessor.

In the camera department, the Galaxy A57 is listed with a triple rear camera setup, led by a 50MP primary sensor, accompanied by 12MP and 5MP secondary cameras. On the front, the device is expected to offer a 12MP selfie camera. While this setup appears similar to the Galaxy A56, later reports hint at improvements in image processing and the possible inclusion of a newer 13MP ultrawide sensor.

The smartphone is also expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery, with a recent TUV certification pointing to 45W fast charging support. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, a flexible OLED panel, a slim 6.9mm profile, and a weight of 182 grams, making it thinner than its predecessor.

With multiple certifications now in place, the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G looks set for an official debut very soon, positioning itself as a strong contender in the competitive mid-range 5G smartphone market.
