Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Book6 Edge laptop has surfaced online ahead of its official announcement, revealing detailed specifications, pricing, and design.
The device was initially expected to debut alongside the Galaxy Book6 series showcased at CES earlier this year, where Samsung introduced Intel-powered models featuring the latest Core Ultra Series 3 processors built on Intel’s 18A architecture.
However, the “Edge” variant stands out as Samsung’s ARM-powered alternative, continuing the company’s strategy of offering lightweight, AI-focused laptops. The leak comes via German retailer Cyberport, which briefly listed the Galaxy Book6 Edge on its website before the official launch.
According to the listing, the device appears to be the 16-inch base model, equipped with 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD, priced at approximately €2,200. The laptop is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 Elite (X2E-88-100 variant), featuring an 18-core CPU setup with 12 prime cores and 6 performance cores. It also includes an Adreno XE-90 GPU clocked at 1.7GHz, designed to handle modern graphics workloads efficiently.
The system uses LPDDR5X memory on a 128-bit bus, delivering up to 152GB/s bandwidth, while Qualcomm’s integrated 80 TOPS NPU enables advanced AI features in Windows 11, including productivity enhancements and on-device processing.
The Galaxy Book6 Edge features a 16-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2880 × 1800 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports 500 nits brightness and includes an anti-glare coating, though it is not a touchscreen panel.
In terms of design, the laptop is remarkably slim at just 12.3mm thickness and weighs 1.55kg, making it highly portable. Despite its thin profile, it houses a 61.8Wh battery capable of delivering up to 22 hours of usage on a single charge.
Connectivity options are extensive, including HDMI 2.1, two USB4 ports, one USB-A (USB 3.2), a headphone jack, and a microSD slot. Wireless support includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, alongside a 1080p webcam and fingerprint sensor for security.
While Samsung has yet to officially confirm the Galaxy Book6 Edge, the leak strongly suggests that an announcement could be imminent as the company expands its AI-powered laptop lineup.
