Samsung officially introduced the Galaxy S25 FE at IFA 2025 in Berlin, unveiling the latest addition to its Fan Edition lineup.

The new device closely resembles the Galaxy S24 FE in design but packs several notable improvements, including a larger battery, faster charging, and advanced AI-powered features.

Running on Android 16 with One UI 8, the Galaxy S25 FE promises seven years of OS and security updates, matching Samsung’s long-term commitment to software support. Under the hood, it is powered by the 4nm Exynos 2400 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The phone also features a 10% larger vapor chamber for improved cooling, enhancing performance during heavy usage.

One of the major upgrades is the 4,900mAh battery, slightly larger than its predecessor, with support for 45W fast charging. Samsung has also retained wireless and reverse wireless charging options.

On the front, the device sports a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X LTPS display with Full HD+ resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 1,900 nits. It also includes an in-display fingerprint scanner and a new 12MP selfie camera for sharper photos and video calls.

The rear houses a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. These sensors aim to deliver flagship-level photography at a more accessible price.

Durability remains a strong point, as the Galaxy S25 FE is built with Gorilla Glass Victus+, an Armor Aluminum frame, and carries an IP68 water and dust resistance rating.

Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6E, and Samsung’s latest AI tools like Gemini Live, ProVisual Engine, Generative Edit, Audio Eraser, Instant Slow-mo, and more.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE comes in four colors: Icyblue, Jetblack, Navy, and White. Pricing starts at €749 ($875) for the 128GB model, while the 256GB and 512GB variants are priced at €809 ($945) and €929 ($1,084), respectively.

With its premium design, enhanced performance, and long-term software updates, the Galaxy S25 FE is positioned as a strong contender in the upper mid-range smartphone market.
