Samsung is reportedly gearing up to launch the Galaxy S25 FE on September 19, 2025, marking an earlier debut than its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 FE, which was unveiled on September 26 last year.
While some fans may have hoped for an even earlier reveal, this move still signals Samsung’s push to refresh its FE lineup sooner than before.
According to a new report from South Korea, the Galaxy S25 FE is expected to be priced under KRW 1 million (around $721 or €620). However, pricing for global markets could vary, and may either match or slightly exceed the S24 FE’s original launch price.
Under the hood, the Galaxy S25 FE is rumored to be powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset — a minor upgrade over the Exynos 2400e in the previous model. It is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
In terms of camera specs, the device is said to include a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, an 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and a significant selfie camera upgrade to 12MP. The battery is reportedly 4,500mAh, supporting 45W wired and 15W wireless charging — a trade-off of 200mAh less than the S24 FE, but with faster charging speeds.
Physically, the Galaxy S25 FE will be slightly shorter, thinner, and lighter than its predecessor, measuring 161.3 x 76.6 x 7.4mm and weighing 190g. It will carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and is expected to ship with One UI 8 based on Android 16.
With improved performance, enhanced selfies, and a sleeker build, the Galaxy S25 FE appears to be a solid upgrade for fans of Samsung’s mid-range premium lineup. Stay tuned for official confirmation as the rumored launch date approaches.
