Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 series is set to deliver a major boost in performance, with all models expected to feature faster 12GB LPDDR5X RAM. According to reliable tipster Ice Universe, the new memory upgrade will reach speeds of up to 10.7Gbps, a notable jump from the 9.6Gbps RAM used in the previous Galaxy S25 series.
Samsung introduced LPDDR5X memory with the Galaxy S24 lineup and has steadily improved it across generations. With the S26 series, users can expect smoother multitasking, quicker app launches, and overall enhanced responsiveness thanks to the fastest LPDDR5X iteration yet.
12GB RAM Standard Across All Models
Samsung will continue offering 12GB of RAM as the default option for every model in the S26 lineup, similar to the S25 series. However, the S26 boosts performance by approximately 10%, giving users faster data processing and improved efficiency.
Samsung’s advancements in LPDDR5X began in 2022 with the 8.5Gbps version, followed by the 9.6Gbps upgrade built on a refined 12nm process in 2024.
