With just days remaining until launch, Samsung Electronics is preparing to introduce its next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
The announcement will take place on February 25 during Galaxy Unpacked in San Francisco, where the company is expected to highlight a new generation of AI-driven mobile experiences.
Samsung says the upcoming Galaxy S series is designed to simplify everyday interactions and integrate Galaxy AI more seamlessly into daily use. The event will be livestreamed globally across Samsung’s official platforms, signaling the company’s continued focus on personalized, adaptive smartphone intelligence.
Ahead of the official unveiling, new leaks have revealed a full 360-degree preview of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, showcasing a refined design and several hardware upgrades. The device appears visually similar to its predecessor but introduces subtle improvements aimed at comfort and usability. Slightly rounded corners give the phone a softer look, while a slimmer profile is expected to enhance handling.
The redesigned rear camera module is one of the most noticeable changes. Instead of separate camera rings, the new model is rumored to feature a unified camera island, creating a cleaner and more modern appearance. Reports also suggest the phone will measure approximately 7.9mm thick and weigh around 214 grams, making it thinner and lighter than the previous generation.
Display technology remains a major highlight. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to feature a large 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. Performance upgrades are anticipated as well, with the device likely powered by the latest flagship chipset from Qualcomm, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and storage options reaching 1TB.
Battery capacity is rumored at 5,000mAh, supported by faster wired charging and improved wireless charging capabilities. Camera performance is also expected to see meaningful upgrades, including a high-resolution primary sensor with enhanced low-light capabilities, along with advanced zoom and ultrawide photography improvements.
