Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 Receives New Galaxy AI Features With June Update

IT & Telecom

Samsung has begun rolling out its June 2026 Android security update for the Galaxy Z Fold7, introducing two new Galaxy AI features that were previously launched with the Galaxy S26 series.

The update follows a similar rollout for the Galaxy S25 lineup, which recently received three Galaxy AI tools that were initially absent from the stable One UI 8.5 release.

According to Samsung’s latest software release, Galaxy Z Fold7 users are now gaining access to Prioritize Notifications and File Summaries through the June security update.

Galaxy AI Enhances Notifications and File Management

The Prioritize Notifications feature uses Galaxy AI to identify and display the most important alerts first. Samsung says the system analyzes notification content and user-related information to determine which notifications should receive priority treatment.

The feature is designed to help users avoid missing critical updates by placing them at the top of the notification list.

Meanwhile, File Summaries leverages artificial intelligence to generate concise summaries of supported documents and recordings. The tool can create overviews of PDF and TXT files, as well as audio recordings stored in the Voice Recorder app.

However, one Galaxy AI feature delivered to the Galaxy S25 series remains unavailable on the Fold7. The Summarize Notifications feature, also known as Notification Highlights, has not been included in the latest Fold7 update.

Update Currently Rolling Out in South Korea

The June 2026 Android security update carries firmware version F966NKSUABZF1 and is currently being distributed to Galaxy Z Fold7 devices in South Korea.

Samsung is expected to expand availability to additional markets in the coming weeks.

Users in South Korea who have not yet received the update can manually check for availability by navigating to Settings, selecting Software Update, and tapping Download and Install.

The rollout underscores Samsung’s continued efforts to expand Galaxy AI capabilities across its premium smartphone lineup, bringing features first introduced on newer flagship devices to existing models through software updates.
