Samsung is reportedly preparing to unveil its next-generation foldable smartphones on July 22, according to recent leaks circulating online. Ahead of the expected launch event, detailed specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 and the rumored Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Wide have surfaced, revealing major hardware upgrades and design improvements.

The new foldable lineup is expected to continue Samsung’s push toward thinner, lighter, and more powerful premium smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Specifications Surface

According to leaked reports, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which is expected to deliver flagship-level performance and improved power efficiency.

The foldable smartphone is tipped to weigh around 210 grams while measuring only 4.1mm in thickness when unfolded. Samsung is reportedly focusing heavily on making the device slimmer and more portable without sacrificing performance.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 is also expected to retain the 200MP primary rear camera found on its predecessor. However, Samsung may upgrade the ultrawide camera to a 50MP sensor for improved photography capabilities.

Meanwhile, the selfie cameras are rumored to remain unchanged with 10MP sensors on both displays.

Battery and Charging Upgrades Expected

Leaks further suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 could feature a 5,000mAh battery, matching previous rumors that surfaced earlier this year.

The foldable is also expected to support faster 45W wired charging, which would provide users with quicker charging speeds compared to older Galaxy Fold models.

Improved battery performance and faster charging remain key priorities for premium smartphone users, especially in the foldable category.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Wide Details Revealed

Alongside the Galaxy Z Fold8, Samsung is also rumored to introduce the Galaxy Z Fold Wide. The device is tipped to feature a large 7.6-inch inner display with a 4:3 aspect ratio for enhanced multitasking and media viewing.

The Galaxy Z Fold Wide may include a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP ultrawide camera. Reports also suggest the foldable could pack a 4,800mAh battery with 45W wired charging support.

Samsung has not officially confirmed these specifications yet, but multiple leaks indicate that the company is preparing significant upgrades for its upcoming foldable lineup.
