Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy F17 in India, a smartphone that shares nearly identical specifications with the recently introduced Galaxy A17.

The only difference between the two models lies in the color options—the Galaxy F17 is available in Violet Pop and Neo Black, giving buyers a stylish alternative.

The Galaxy F17 features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for improved durability. Under the hood, it runs on the Exynos 1330 chipset, paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, making it a reliable device for both daily tasks and light gaming.

On the camera front, the phone is equipped with a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. This versatile triple-camera setup ensures clear photography, while the front-facing camera supports selfies and video calls with ease.

Powering the device is a robust 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging, ensuring long-lasting performance for heavy users. Out of the box, the Galaxy F17 runs One UI 7.0 based on Android 15, giving users the latest software experience. Impressively, Samsung has promised six years of software and security updates, making the Galaxy F17 one of the most future-proof devices in its price segment.

In terms of pricing, the Galaxy F17 starts at INR 14,499 ($163) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB model is priced at INR 15,999 ($180). The smartphone is now available for purchase via Samsung.com and authorized retail partners across India.

With its sleek design, dependable performance, and long-term update commitment, the Galaxy F17 is set to attract budget-conscious buyers who don’t want to compromise on style or software support. By offering nearly the same hardware as the Galaxy A17 but in fresh colors, Samsung continues to expand its reach in India’s competitive mid-range smartphone market.
