Samsung is gearing up to expand its budget-friendly smartphone lineup with the upcoming Galaxy A07, Galaxy A17 5G, and Galaxy F17 5G.
The devices have recently appeared on multiple certification platforms, hinting that their official launch is just around the corner.
Galaxy A07 and A17 5G Receive Key Certifications
The Galaxy A07 has been spotted on Thailand’s NBTC certification database, while the Galaxy A17 5G received approval from the Global Certification Forum (GCF). These certifications, though not revealing any specifications, confirm that the models are nearing market readiness.
Interestingly, the Galaxy A07 is expected to spawn two additional variants — the Galaxy M07 and Galaxy F07 — which will likely feature similar hardware and software configurations.
Galaxy F17 5G Support Page Goes Live
Samsung has also launched the official support page for the Galaxy F17 5G on its regional websites in India and Bangladesh, listed under model number SM-E176B/DS. This move further indicates an imminent release. Industry insiders speculate that the F17 5G will be a rebranded version of the Galaxy A17 5G, possibly with slight modifications in specifications.
Rumored Specs: Helio G99 and Exynos 1380
Although official specs haven’t been released, early leaks suggest that the Galaxy A07 could be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, offering reliable performance for budget-conscious users. On the other hand, the Galaxy A17 5G is expected to feature Samsung’s Exynos 1380 processor, along with OIS (optical image stabilization) support on the main camera — a rare premium feature in this segment.
Both the Galaxy A07 and A17 5G are rumored to come with 6GB of RAM and will likely launch with Android 15 out of the box, even though Android 16 has already been officially released. However, Samsung’s One UI 8 based on Android 16 has not yet been finalized, which explains the software version delay.
Samsung’s upcoming trio — Galaxy A07, A17 5G, and F17 5G — are poised to strengthen the brand’s presence in the entry-level and mid-range markets. With certifications and support pages going live, an official announcement is expected soon.
